Geoffry Meek (Technical Director) 

Geoff has led critical web application development for start-up companies since the birth of the commercial Internet. For seven years, he consulted to Open Market Inc. (now divine, Inc.), the leading manufacturer of Internet commerce and content management software. Geoff has designed the technology behind several start-ups that are successfully serving niche markets.

Prior to work with the Internet, Geoff developed data processing applications for the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska and was a member of the core programming team at Virtual Music Entertainment, Inc.

Geoff is an also an accomplished technical speaker and writer. Most recently, he participated on a panel at Harvard University on how they can improve its web sites, and completed technical reviewing for Apache, the Definitive Guide, 2^nd edition, published by O’Reilly and Associates, the leading publisher of technology books. He has Bachelors’ of Science degrees in Physics and Philosophy from Boston College and has done graduate work in Computer Science at Boston University.
